Weapon (longbow), legendary (requires attunement)

This magnificent Greatbow is crafted from the enchanted ivory horn of a blue dragon Zavarak. it’s limbs are adorned with  swirling patterns of delicately carved giant runes. The handle has a thick mantle of mammoth’s fur flanking a beautifully woven strands of dark leather to ease the grip. Four runic binding charms have been tied to the horn.



You gain a +3 to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, If you load no ammunition in the weapon, it produces its own, automatically creating one magic arrow when you pull back the string. The arrow created by the bow vanishes after a minute of hitting or missing the target.

 

Zavarak, the eye of the storm has 10 charges and regains 1d6+4 charges daily at dawn. You can use these charges for the following:

 

Charge the lightning: As an action and spending 1 charge you start charging the greatbow to enhance your next attack. You gain 1 voltage point. If you move, willingly or not, you lose all your voltage points. If you already have voltage poins when you use Charge the lightning you must make a (strenght) athletics check (DC 13 + the amount of voltage points) or lose all the voltage points. When you attack with voltage points; you gain a bonus +5 to hit,  a bonus 1d10 lightning damage and the range of the attack is doubled for each charge spent. If 3 or more voltage points were spent the target is stunned until the end of your next turn. If 5 or more voltage points were spent the attack is an automatic critical. While charging you emmit 5ft od dim light and 5ft of bright light per voltage point as the bow starts gathering immense electrical energy, and you are considered to be concentrating on this ability.

 

Sentience: Zavarak is a sentient lawful evil weapon with an inteligence of 16, wisdom of 14 and charisma of 18. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. The bow can speak, read and understand common and draconic, and can commune with its wielder telepathically.

Personality: Zavarak is demeaning and manipulative. He hates giant kin beyond anything else in the universe and tries to allign its wielder into a path that causes as much suffering to giant’s as possible. Zavarak is also a manic clean freak, and does not tolerate dirty hands on his fine form.



Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
