You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. All Monks are proficient in its use and it is considered a monk weapon
When wielding this weapon, your attack range extends to ten feet and you may make grapple checks within your range.
Ki-Empowered: A Monk may use a bonus action on its turn to empower the weapon and extend its range. For each Ki Point expended (up to the Monk’s proficiency modifier) the range of the weapon is extended by 5 additional feet. This feature last for one minute or until the Monk uses an additional bonus action to return to normal.
Proficiency with a Flail allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
