This blackened metal suit of armor fastens itself to whichever creature attunes to it, nearly skin tight, and can not be removed beyond the curse being broken. Necrotic symbols line the edges of this armor, with a large onyx and ruby quartet standing proudly upon the chest piece.
While attuned to this armor, the wearer is resistant to necrotic damage, but vulnerable to radiant damage. In addition, this armor gives a +1 bonus to saving throws, and the wearer can will be equally effected by "Turn Undead" and other spells specifically targeting undead. In addition, the wearer, once per day, can cast "Speak with Dead". If the user does not claim the soul of at least 1 living being in a 24 hour period, the armor hungers. If the user does not claim a soul in at least 48 hours, the armor starves. If the user does not claim a soul in 72 hours, the armor is feral.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
