Weapon (maul), common

This thick, large, musical horn, doubles as a mighty bludgeoning hammer. Playing it's melodies in combat can provide a variety of buffs for you and your party.

In each encounter, the Hunting Horn starts with 0 charges, and gains 1 charge with each successful hit. The Hunting Horn can then spend all 3 charges to perform a song as a Bonus Action. Each Hunting Horn has 4 songs it can play, 3 of which affect all allies within 30 ft. Any effect that is not immediate stays active, or can be triggered, for 3 turns after which the effect fades. You also have the ability to spend your action to play an encore, which will apply added bonuses and can only be used if your action is still available. An encore also doubles the duration to 6 turns. See below for song and encore effects.

As stated, a Hunting Horn has 4 songs it can play, as determined by your DM when the Hunting Horn is acquired, or by rolling randomly on the following tables:

Every Hunting Horn has this song, which only effects the wielder playing the song -
