Yew is a sentient, flying broom made of yew wood who communicates through movement, since it cannot speak. When a player is attuned to Yew, they choose a Command Word. When they speak this word, no matter how far away they are, Yew will hear and will do everything it can to rush to the player's side. Yew can carry up to 250 pounds and can fly at a speed of 40. Yew has a 14 AC and 80 HP.
Yew has an impulse to clean any building it enters. Upon entering any building, the player must succeed on a DC 10 animal handling check, or Yew will start sweeping up any dust and dirt in the building.
As an action, the player can have yew attack an enemy. Make three attack rolls using Yew's modifier of +6. For every hit, the opponent takes 1d12 magic bludgeoning damage, and its strength score is reduced by one for one hour. This effect is doubled on a critical hit.
If someone other than the player it is attuned to tries to grab Yew, the player needs to succeed on a DC 10 animal handling check, or Yew will instinctively attack the person trying to grab it once and fly away.
