You have a bonus to attack rolls made with this magic weapon by drawing a card from the deck (check rules below).
against targets with heavy armor, you have disadvantage to hit and the target has a +5 to AC.
against targets with medium armor, you have disadvantage to hit.
At the cost of a bonus action, you may return all thrown cards to the deck box, this also shuffles them.

- Jokers are an automatic hit.
For each attack made with this weapon, draw a card from the deck, depending on what card you draw a different effect can take place.
- Joker = 1d4+1 slashing damage + crit + suit effect of your choice
- Ace = 1d4+2 slashing damage + crit (does not count as an automatic hit, you just get to double damage)
- Face cards = 1d4+1 slashing damage + suit effect
- Number cards = 1d4 slashing damage
SUIT EFFECTS
- spades = deal an additional 1 slashing damage (affected by crits)
- clubs = deal bludgeoning damage instead of slashing damage
- hearts = you heal 1 hp when used
- diamonds = you may split the damage equally (rounded down) among any number of targets
note: Suit Effects only take place if your attack hits.
Example attack action
draw a card, then roll to hit (unless it is a joker), follow rules above.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
