  • Once per turn, when you hit a spellcaster with this weapon, they must make a saving throw against your spell save DC using their spellcasting ability. On a failure, they lose one spell slot or spell use per day, starting with their lowest level spell slot. You gain one spell slot of the same level.
  • Cursed. When you roll a 1 on any attack roll made with this weapon, you lose one spell slot, starting from your lowest level slot. In addition, this weapon wants to be wielded. As soon as initiative is rolled, it leaps into your hand and cannot be dropped or disarmed as long as the combat continues.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
