Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement)

Yin and Yang count as a single weapon for purposes of attunement, only can be attuned to by a creature of neutral alignment. Both daggers' enchantments only activate when within 150 feet of each other and attuned to the same creature. Seperately, their enchantments deactivate and both function as normal daggers until brought back within range.

This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it, and it returns to the wielder’s hand immediately after it is used to make a ranged attack.

Yin, a wicked throwing blade, it's ebony handle wreathed in silver accent bears a hedonically cut red stone in the pommel. Yin deals 2d6 radiant damage to the target. On a successful hit, roll a D20. If the result of the roll is a nat 20, Yin gains the ability to cast the spell False Life once. This charge resets at dawn.

Yang is Yin's twin, though the black grip is instead accepted with gold, and a sapphire adorns the pommel. Yang deals 2d6 necrotic damage to the attacker whenever it is used to make a melee weapon attack. On a successful hit, roll a D20. If the result of the roll is a nat 20, Yang gains the ability to cast the spell Inflict Wounds once. This charge resets at dusk.

When one of the daggers possess a charge the gem will glow faintly.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
