This iron band has the name "Marissa" written on it in deep speech. Attuning to it, you can feel your presence around you. An advisor, a lover, perhaps a mother. Her relation to the previous owner of this ring is unknown, but what is known is that her soul is still there, forever bound to its presence. You may call upon her, and she may speak with you. Simply say her name.

Once per long rest, a creature attuned to this ring can summon a Specter which has their own free will and moves on its own in combat. This specter can only be seen and can only speak to the one attuned, but can still make attacks if it so wishes. When speaking, it knows all of the things it knew in life, and wishes only to reach the same goals it did in life. The specter remains animate for 10 minutes, and in that time, you may cast the Legend Lore spell on one object, requiring no material components. The specter will do its best to explain what it may know in both life and conscious death.
