Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a Monk)

Traditional attire of the Sillian Nomads of Xhorhas, these hand wrappings are covered in minute hooked barbs on one side of the cloth. The wayward Sillian monks practiced an art of combat intended to disguise one's true skill and strike at an overconfident foe. Using these barbed hand wrappings, they would turn an enemy's strength to their favor, siezing hold and throwing them great distances.

Sillian Vice. While wearing these bracers, you can use Acrobatics in place of Athletics when attempting to grapple or restrain a creature.

Grasping Strikes. Immediately after you hit a creature with an attack granted by your flurry of blows, you can try to grapple the target.

Rotary Throw. As a replacement for an unarmed attack, you can attempt to throw a grappled creature. Make another grapple check. If you succeed, the creature is thrown a number of feet up to to 5 x your Proficiency Bonus, landing prone and taking damage equal to two rolls of your martial arts die. If the creature succeeds, it escapes the grapple. If the thrown creature collides with another object or creature, that object or creature takes bludgeoning damage equal to 1d4 per 5 feet travelled. If the target is smaller than the thrown creature, it takes an additional 2d4 bludgeoning damage per difference in size category.

Notes: Monk, Warding, Wristwear
