The sanguine song was made by a vampire who desperately sought to remember a song they found so easy to play when they were alive but was lost to them in undeath. The sanguine song is a violin with razor wire strings and a sharpened bow. It also sports a hidden compartment that can hold vials of blood.

The sanguine song may be used as a mundane violin and a mundane rapier. In addition you may cast dominate monster 3 times per day with this item (charisma as the spellcasting modifier). Creatures have disadvantage on the saving throw if the hidden compartment has a vial of blood from a creature of the same creature type. Finally a vampire may rest by this item and gain the effects of resting in their graveyard dirt.
