A simple weapon that once thrown travels to a distance of up to 30m and causes a chain electrical explosion to deal 5d10 lightning damage to all creatures within a 10ft radius. If the lightning chains from one creature to another which is outside of that 10ft radius then it deals 3d10 lightning damage, and if it chains to a creature outside of that 10ft then it deals 1d10 lightning damage. If the dagger hits a creature initially then it deals an additional 2d6 piercing damage. Once this attack has been executed the weapon will return back to its owner unless there is a solid obstacle in the way, in which case it shall be imbedded in the surface of the object and requires a strength check of 15 to remove it. The lightning attack has a cooldown of 5 minutes.
The boomerang is a ranged weapon, and any creature proficient with the javelin is also proficient with this weapon.
On a miss, a boomerang returns to the thrower's hand.
