Armor (plate), rare (requires attunement by a Attune over a short rest)

A Mezzeloth that rises through the ranks dons an extra protective chitinous plate armor made from their molted husks over time going thicker as more layers are added.  Some of the inherent dark magic of Gehenna still resonates from the armor even on the material plate. By attuning to this armor, your eyes will be opened to the eternal Blood War that rages through all planes of existence. You gain advantage on arcana or history checks related to major events, general knowledge, or foes within the eternal Blood War.

The magic of Gehenna allows you expend 2 charges to cast Darkness, 3 Charges to cast Dispel Magic, or 5 charges to cast Cloudkill. Fully charges, this contains 5 charges.

Curse: While attuned to this armor, you are bound to the code of conduct of the Yuguloth’s. You have disadvantage on attack roles against other fiends of the Yuguloth type. If you make any promises, commitments, or pacts with demons or devils. You must adhere to that agreement to the letter as if you are under the Suggestion spell. This may only be removed by a Remove Curse spell of 4th level or higher.

If you deplete all of the magic charges, roll a d20. On a 1, the armor loses its spell casting properties permanently.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Advantage: Ability Checks, Attune over a short rest, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
