While attuned to this item, once per day, you can use your action to smash it on the floor. When you do so, pieces of wood appear around you for a fraction of a second, then rush towards the smashed violin, transforming it into a cello. A stool is also formed in the same manner.

Mobile stool. As long as you are sitting on the stool, you can magically move it to mimic your own movements. The stool can slide on the floor, matching your walking speed, or levitate in any direction, matching your flying speed for example. You can't mimic a movement speed that you do'nt have.

Borrow Bardic Talent. You gain levels in the bard class for 10 minutes. You can choose to gain between 1 and 6 levels of bard. These levels grant you the abilities and spell slots of a bard of that level.

Price of Power. After 10 minutes, the cello reverts to its violin form and can't be used again until you finish a long rest. Furthermore, The effect of that item causes an enormous strain on both your body and your soul. For each bard level borrowed, you gain one level of exhaustion. This exhaustion cannot be removed by any means for a number of days equal to the bard levels borrowed. After this period, you can reduce your exhaustion level by one for each long rest you complete. If you die while suffering from this exhaustion, your soul is too damaged to be brought back, meaning that any attempt at ressurection will automatically fail.
