This peculiar pistol was designed by a rather eccentric member of the simic combine. It has 5 charges. When the user shoots the pistol, they expend one charge and a bullet is fired at a creature or point within range. Upon hit, the bullet explodes and a creature that was magicaly shrunk inside the bullet grows to its full size where the bullet hits. If the bullet hit a creature, they must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or suffer 4d8 bludgeoning damage as they are buffeted by the creature inside the bullet. The creature that was inside the bullet is hostile to every creature once they have grown to full size.
The user does not know what creatures are inside the bullets of this weapon unless they cast identify on each bullet or they have truesight. Once the charges are expended, they cannot be restored unless the user has the knowledge to craft the ammunition for this weapon.
Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
