Weapon (whip), uncommon

1d6 Bludgeoning Damage

Thrown (10 Feet), finesse,  hidden, special

Special. If you attack with this weapon without throwing it, it deals 1 bludgeoning damage. When the yo-yo is thrown, it deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage. You do not have disadvantage when attacking by throwing the yo-yo at a creature within 5 feet of you. After the yo-yo is thrown, you must make a Sleight of Hand skill check (DC 10) to make the string return the Yo-Yo to you. On a failed skill check, you must use an action to wind up the string before throwing the Yo-Yo again. If you are proficient with yo-yos specifically (proficiency in all simple weapons doesn't count), you automatically succeed this skill check.

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Finesse, Reach, Slow
