Abilities:
Hybrid Form: As a bonus action, the user can transform into a hybrid form, gaining characteristics of a Baku, such as elephantine ears, a tapir-like snout, and a robust, fur-covered body. In this form, the user retains their humanoid shape but gains:
- Advantage on Strength and Dexterity checks and saving throws.
- The ability to communicate telepathically with creatures within 30 feet.
- A comforting and mystical aura that grants allies within 10 feet advantage on saving throws against fear effects.
Full Beast Form: As an action, the user can transform fully into a Baku, a large, mythical creature with the body of a bear, the trunk of an elephant, the eyes of a rhinoceros, the tail of an ox, and tiger-like paws. In this form, the user gains:
- A +3 bonus to AC.
- A 40-foot movement speed and the ability to move through difficult terrain without penalty.
- The ability to consume dreams and manipulate nightmares at peak efficiency.
Dream Consumption: The user can use an action to consume the dreams of a creature within 5 feet, drawing them out through their snout. The target must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure:
- Consuming nightmares grants the user temporary hit points equal to their level.
- Consuming pleasant dreams grants the user insight into the target's thoughts and memories, providing advantage on Charisma checks against the target for 1 hour.
- The user can store dreams or nightmares and release them later, inflicting them upon others within a 30-foot radius.
Dream Manipulation: The user can cast the Dream spell at will, without expending a spell slot. When casting Dream, the user has near-complete control over the dream environment and can create, destroy, or reshape it.
Sleep Inducement: The user can put others to sleep with a touch or by exhaling a gentle mist. As an action, the user can cast the Sleep spell at will, without expending a spell slot. The sleep induced can be peaceful or filled with dreams, depending on the user’s intent.
Nightmare Immunity: The user is immune to nightmares and any dream-based attacks. This immunity extends to any allies the user is physically touching, providing them with protection from dream-based threats.
Energy Absorption: By consuming nightmares, the user can convert the fear and negative energy into physical or energy-based attacks. As an action, the user can unleash a powerful blast or create constructs made of concentrated nightmare energy, dealing 6d6 psychic damage to all creatures in a 20-foot cone (DC 18 Wisdom saving throw for half damage).
Phantasmal Presence: The user can become intangible and move silently, slipping through shadows and walls. As a bonus action, the user can become ethereal until the end of their next turn, allowing them to move through objects and creatures.
Weaknesses:
Light Manipulation: Users with strong light-based abilities can counteract the dream-based powers of the Yume Yume no Mi. Bright light can disrupt the user's dream manipulation and make it harder for them to consume or release dreams.
Strong Willpower: Individuals with exceptionally strong willpower or mental fortitude can resist the effects of sleep inducement and dream manipulation. They can also fight back within their dreams, making it difficult for the user to maintain control.
Standard Devil Fruit Weaknesses:
- Inability to Swim: The user loses the ability to swim and becomes weak and immobilized when submerged in water.
- Sea-Prism Stone (Kairoseki): Contact with Sea-Prism Stone drains the user’s energy and nullifies their abilities.

Notes: To attune to the Yume Yume no Mi, the user must consume the fruit. Once consumed, it disappears, and its abilities become part of the user. If the user loses attunement, such as through death, resurrection, or a specific magical effect, they must re-consume the fruit to regain its powers.
