A pure white branch found around the base of a rare kind of birch tree that siphons life from its surroundings. It is 3 inches long and weighs 1 lb.
When you snap the branch in half, your form is covered in an illusion that matches your current surroundings and is your size or smaller. (If you are in a harbor it might make a wooden crate appear around you). Once used, it must be buried at the base of a tree for 3 hours for it to repair itself.
While in use:
- Your movement is reduced to a maximum of 10 ft per 6 seconds, and you can't dash.
- Any attack made or damage taken will remove the effect.
- You can add 1d6 +1 to stealth rolls made while covered
- A successful DC 14 Investigation check on the illusion will allow others to see through it.
- The effect lasts for 10 hours, or until it is removed.
Note 1: You are able to bury the branch and move away from it while under its effects. The act of breaking the branch causes the effect, so you don't need to keep holding the branch after its snapped.
Note 2: The illusion faces in the direction that your chest faces. You can turn your head and the illusion wont move.
Note 3: The illusion can fade/clip into walls and objects but it wont pass through to the other side.
