Great Hammer/Maul of The Scourge, a powerful paladin of the demon lord NO-BAH KU.
This weapon has a +2 to attack and damage rolls. Additionally, if there are 3 creatures in the spaces in front of you, lined up horizontally, and within range (5ft) you can make an attack against all of them, though you will have to divide the damage amongst all of the targets.
On a hit, the target(s) take 2d6 Bludgeoning damage (as all mauls do) + 8d8 Lightning damage + 2d4 Thunder damage + your strength modifier. If you hit a target, your next turn, as a bonus action you can force the target to make a strength saving throw or face another bout of thunder damage, 2d4, and fall prone. The target takes half as much damage on a successful save and is not proned. On a Nat 1 of the save, the target takes an extra 2d4 thunder damage and, instead of falling prone, becomes paralyzed. DC = 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Mod.
This weapon, additionally, has 3 charges that refill after a long rest. You can use 1 charge to use the spell Thunderstep as a 7th level spell.
Any creature that attunes to this weapon will have to make a Wisdom save (DC 18) or its alignment become Chaotic Evil.
This weapon requires a strength score of 13 or higher to wield.
Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
