Visually a simple messenger bag with a flap can hold one cubic foot or 30 pounds of gear. When you think of a specific object while reaching into the bag you can create a nonmagical trinket or an illusory image that can fit in the bag and that lasts until you dismiss it. If it is used to attempt to harm anything it fades immediately and does no damage.
Zinra was not only a powerful wizard but also a fan of corny jokes and puns, and after his retirement from adventure he set out making niche magic items to keep his skills sharp, this is one of such items. Meant for  conjuring props for jokes.
