The Ruby is the Deltoran symbol of Happiness. Its rich red color pales when in the presence of an Evil aligned creature. While holding this item, a creature gains resistance to Poison damage from snakes or snakelike creatures.

The Ruby holds three (3) charges, and regains a charge once per day. You can expend a charge to:

1 - Cast the Detect Evil and Good spell. (1 charge)

2 - As a bonus action, target up to two creatures friendly to you. Each creature gains 1d6 +2 temporary hitpoints. (2 charges)

3 - Racial Trait: Respite: A Ralad attuned to the gem can cast the Calm Emotions spell as a bonus action (1 charge)
