A heavy steel shield forged from steel. The shield is a normal shield with the depiction of the head of a lion forged into the front. 

Upon interacting with The Sleeping Lion the eyes of the Lion flash a redish hue. The following effects also occur on activation:

● The wielder of The Sleeping Lion gains a bonus to their AC equal to their Charisma Modifier plus 3. 

● Any ranged attacks made against any ally or allies within 50ft are redirected to The Sleeping Lion. 

The Sleeping Lion may be activated up to Three Times Per Long Rest. 

 

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.

Notes: Must hold the shield out while receiving a projectile.
