The mind inside the Shadowblade craves justice, and is okay with breaking laws to obtain it. The Shadowblade is able to sense other sentient weapons in a 200ft radius. Hokana has found 4 worthy owners so far, all of which have died in the pursuit of justice. The Shadowblade’s current runes are +2 to attack and damage rolls, scores a critical hit on a 19 or 20, and it is unbreakable.
The Shadowblade can copy and store up to 1 magical affixes from other magic items. To do so, it needs to be within 10ft of the magic item for at least 6 seconds. The ability disappears after it is used, or if the condition is met. If the ability is a passive effect, the ability is stored for 1 minute. The blade will choose to use this ability automatically if an ability is not already stored. It will also dump an existing stored ability for one it finds more enticing unless specifically told to hang on to the ability by its wielder.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
