Weapon (shortsword), rare

The Royal's Sword: This Pokémon used to be wielded by a royal knight. However, he died in battle, and now the Pokémon bestows a curse upon whoever tries to wield it.

The Royal's Curse: While wielding this weapon, it drinks your life force and heals itself. Every turn you are wielding this weapon, you take damage and the Pokémon heals itself for that amount of damage
Honedge: 1d4 damage every turn
Doublade: 1d6 damage every turn
Aegislash: 2d6 damage every turn

The Royal's Guard: While you wield this Pokémon, all damage that is directed at you is instead taken by the Pokémon. When it has 1 HP or lower, you may not wield this weapon until the Pokémon heals. Additionally, when the Pokémon is Honedge or Doublade, as a bonus action, you may choose to toggle the effects of the Pokémon's "No Guard" ability.

Honedge (Shortsword):
Melee Attack: 5ft. range, +1 to hit, 1d8 + 1 slashing or Steel damage.
As a reaction, when a Pokémon is switched out within 40ft. of your location, you may make a ranged attack roll against the Pokémon, throwing Honedge at the targeted Pokémon and dealing 1d6 Dark damage

Doublade (Dual-wield Shortswords):
Melee Attack: 5ft. range, +2 to hit, 2d8 + 2 slashing or Dark damage. This attack scores a critical hit on a natural roll of 19 or 20.
Once per turn, when you use your action to make a melee attack against a target and it succeeds, you may attack the target again. It is guaranteed to hit, and you only have to roll damage for this second attack.

Aegislash (Greatsword):
Melee Attack: 10ft. range, +4 to hit, 3d10 + 4 slashing or Fighting damage.
Melee Attack: 10ft. range, +4 to hit, 3d6 + 4 bludgeoning or Steel damage. This attack will cause the target Pokémon to flinch on a natural roll of 16 or higher.
As an action, you may put Aegislash into Shield Forme, giving the wielder +4 AC. Making a melee attack with this weapon will put it back into Blade Forme.
While in Shielde Forme, as a reaction you may negate all incoming damage and effects. Subsequent uses of this reaction in the same combat require the user to roll a 15 or higher on a flat d20, otherwise it fails. This reaction cannot be used to negate damage or effects that result from a natural 20 roll.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
