A powerful longbow carved with runic inscriptions that emanate magical power. This weapon is unique in that the runes carved into the limbs of the bow listen to the one who wields the weapon. The wielder of this bow can speak a description of a target they wish slain and the bow will respond by empowering the arrow that the wielder has notched with pure magic power. Increasing the damage of the arrow and adding magical damage to it.
- The Slayer's Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: Range 30/600 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage. This bow allows its wielder to whisper a brief description of its desired target, which causes the magical runes engraved on the bow to react and light up. When the wielder's target is hit with an arrow from this bow, that target takes an additional (1d8) magic damage no matter what type of arrow is used.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
