Innate Spellcasting. The Aaalopanaki's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

Magic Resistance. The Aaalopanaki has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Toxic Skin. Any creature that makes contact with the Aaalopanaki must succeed on a DC 12 constitution saving throw or take 10 poison damage be poisoned and paralyzed until the contact ends and be poisoned and paralyzed for 1 minute after,

Actions

Claws.(Aaalopanaki Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage.

Change Shape. The Aaalopanaki magically polymorphs into a tiny frog or back into it's true form. It's statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to her true form if she dies.

Etherealness. The Aaalopanaki magically enters the Ethereal Plane from the Material Plane, or vice versa.

Nightmare Haunting (1/Day). While on the Ethereal Plane, the Aaalopanaki magically touches a sleeping humanoid on the Material Plane. A protection from evil and good spell cast on the target prevents this contact, as does a magic circle. As long as the contact persists, the target has dreadful visions. If these visions last for at least 1 hour, the target gains no benefit from its rest, and its hit point maximum is reduced by 5 (1d10). If this effect reduces the target's hit point maximum to 0, the target dies, and if the target was evil, its soul is trapped in the hag's soul bag. The reduction to the target's hit point maximum lasts until removed by the greater restoration spell or similar magic.

Jump. The Aaalopanaki attempts to make a mighty leap to dodge an attack. The Aaalopanaki must succeed on a DC 14 strength. On success the Aaalopanaki dodges the attack and the opposing creature is surprised.

Description

Aaalopanaki are short fiends in the form of an ashen colored grung with seperate demonic features. They are feared by  grungs for when a grung dies to an Aaalopanaki it is believed that after 30 days the dead grung rises as another Aaalopanaki.

Aaalopanaki were created when an evil grung by the name of Soolapana died and his soul traveled to the abyss. As he made his way up the ranks of the abyss he soon became a demon lord. As a result he transformed any grung souls who caught his favor  the abyss into Aaalopanaki. He was soon supplanted though by another demon lord and his essence was shattered. However Aaalopanaki still roam and his legacy lives on.
