Description
These humongous, generally peaceful spacefaring mammals fly through the cosmos, consuming stray asteroids and taking their own habitat with them.
Lair and Lair Actions
The space whale's lair is its own body. It can manipulate its body's processes to help or hinder creatures inside.
Lair Actions
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the space whale takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the space whale can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- The space whale fills a 10-foot cube of its insides with digestive juices. This cube is essentially an immobile gelatinous cube that lasts until initiative count 20 on the next round.
- The space whale psionically compels 2d10 random creatures living inside its body to attack any creature(s) inside it. This compulsion lasts until initiative count 20 on the next round, though the creatures may continue to attack afterwards.
- The space whale gifts some of its own blood to a creature inside its body. The space whale takes 3d10 damage not subjected to its Humongous trait, and any number of creatures inside its body spread the HP between them. The whale chooses the creatures.
