Mobile Suit. The Gouf requires a pilot to function properly. Without a pilot, the Gouf suffers from the effects of being Prone and Petrified. When a pilot enters the cockpit, they must succeed on a DC 11 Intelligence check to operate the machine. On a success, the Gouf then substitutes the pilot's Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores for its own and the pilot has full control of its actions.\

Boosted Movement. When taking the Dash action, the Gouf can choose to gain an additional 100 ft. of movement due to the jet verniers on its backpack.

Nuclear Reactor. When it reaches zero hit points, the Gouf's reactor explodes. All creatures within a 100-foot radius must make DC 15 Dexterity saving throws or take 26 (5d8+4) Force damage (half damage on a success). Meanwhile, the pilot must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 59 (10d10+4) Force damage (half damage on a success).

Actions

5-Barrel 75mm Machine Gun. Five Ranged Weapon Attacks: +10 to hit, range 40/200 ft., 5 targets. Hit: 15 (3d8 + 2) Piercing damage (each).

Heat Sword Type-βIV. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, range 30 ft., 1 target. Hit: 50 (7d12 + 5) Slashing damage.

Heat Rod. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, range 60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 49 (8d10 + 5) Lightning damage.

Description

The MS-07B Gouf is a humanoid mobile suit developed and used by the Principality of Zeon in late Universal Century 0079. Replacing the J-Type Zaku, the Gouf was a highly maneuverable mobile suit with a higher focus on close-quarters combat with a Heat Sword, the whip-like Heat Rod, and a shield. It suffered from limited production, though, and was eventually discontinued completely after the introduction of the MS-09B Dom. The Gouf lived on, however, in the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom, which was used by aces such as Norris Packard throughout the late part of 0079.
