Traits

Amorphous. The voidwraith can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Scion of the Void. As a bonus action, the voidwraith can manifest two void pockets, 10 foot radius spheres of magical darkness, at two points within 60 feet. Alternatively, the voidwraith can expand a void pocket it is entirely concealed in by 10 feet and summon only one void pocket.

Luminary Weakness. While in bright light, the voidwraith has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. Additionally, if a divine torch is lit and brought within a void pocket the void pocket collapses and the divine torch has its holy magic consumed.

Boundary of Space. The voidwraith cannot leave the area it was ordained to guard, treating all empty doorways leading from its domain as solid doors.

Actions

Multiattack. The voidwraith uses fear the unknown, then makes two voidclaw attacks.

Fear the Unknown. One target within 60 feet of the voidwraith that is currently blinded must succeed on a dc 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of the voidwraith. While frightened this way, a creature uses their full movement in the most direct line towards any source of bright light, or has their speed reduced to 0 if there is no source of bright light.

Voidclaw. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 20 (4d6 + 6) necrotic damage, and the target has their maximum health reduced by an amount equal to half the necrotic damage dealt. The target dies if this reduces their maximum health to 0.

Reactions

Midnight Singularity. As a reaction to taking damage from a creature within a void pocket, the voidwraith can collapse the voidpocket upon that creature in an impulsive rage. The target must succeed on a dc 16 Dexterity or Constitution saving throw (creature's choice) or take 2d6 + 1d6 for every five feet of radius the void pocket has. If the target failed on a constitution saving throw, their maximum hit points are reduced by an amount equal to half the damage they took. If the target failed on a Dexterity saving throw, they are additionally knocked prone. Upon the resolution of this reaction, the void pocket is removed.

Legendary Actions

The voidwraith can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The voidwraith regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Move. The voidwraith moves up to its speed.

Void Expansion. The voidwrath expands the radius a void pocket it is completely within by 10 feet.

Additionally, the voidwraith benifits from villain actions, able to take one per round in the order they are presented. A villain action can be taken at any time a legendary action can be taken, but the voidwraith cannot take a villain action and a legendary action in the same turn.

Round 1: Call of the Void. Each character within 10 feet of a void pocket must succeed on a dc 16 Dexterity or Strength saving throw or be drawn into the center of the closest void pocket, taking 2d6 bludgeoning damage if they collide with another creature.

Round 2: Malevolent Shadows. The voidwraith lets out a keening cry which echos throughout the temple chamber. Two shadows rise up from the tiled floor surrounding an enemy separated from its allies. The shadows take their turn immediately.

Round 3: Descending Night. The dim light lighting up the temple amphitheater immediately goes out, leaving the characters in total (nonmagical) darkness.
