Reduce. The Yur'Ghul can cast the reduce spell at well and has advantage to concentration checks to maintain concentration. When targeting an unwilling target the target can make a DC 16 constitution saving throw to avoid the effect. Otherwise the effect lasts for 1 minute or until the Yur'Ghul stops concentrating.
Multi-Attack. The Yur'Ghul makes two grab attacks or one grab attack and one devour attack if it is currently grappling a target.
Grab. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 4) [bludgeoning] damage. A target hit by this spell while under the effects of the Yur'Ghuls reduce effect is considered grappled(Escape DC 15).
Devour. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 36 (8d8 + 4) [psychic] damage. Can only be used against a grappled target. The belly of the Yur;Ghul opens wide as the arm of the creature pulls it inside of to be devoured by the psychic forces twisting this aberration. If successful the target is considered restrained in the Yur'Ghuls digestive pocket plane. Dealing 20 or more points of damage in one round to the "walls" of the pocket plane will cause anyone in it to be ejected violently. A target killed by this ability can only be brought back through means such as a wish or true ressurection spell.
Description
Yur'Ghuls are eldritch abominations of the worst kind. Taking the form of a pregnant humanoid child with unnatural features and a gaping wound in their stomach. Protruding from that wound is a man sized arm that seems to move on its own accord.
Yur'Ghuls are creatures of nightmares from the Far Realms. They exist only to devour, feeding hapless souls to the great beyond. When stalking prey they first use their reduce ability to shrink the target to a size that allows it to use its grab and devour abilities to ingest its target.
