Traits
Charge. If the goat moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 5 (2d4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Sure-Footed. The goat has advantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws made against effects that would knock it prone.
Actions
Ram. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.
Me: "Can my lvl 3 dwarf cleric start with a Giant Goat mount? He'll be expendable and replaceable."
DM: "Sure, why not."
Bartholomew the Goat: *proceeds to go wild in combat, proves himself the G.O.A.T. in Session 1*
Me: *by agreement of the party, creating a character sheet for a Giant Goat using Tasha's warrior sidekick rules*
Lol
My goats name is Scape... He has a cart that he pulls all my stuff for me... To bribe him I feed him belongings that belong to my party members... they haven't noticed yet...
I kinda feel like whoever designed these attacks has never been on a farm with pissed off farm animals, because i can assure you, a pissed off goat packs enough of a punch to knock a full grown person smooth out, so a goat the size of a warhorse, while not necessarily faster, would pack more of a punch. I usually give them 2d8 for their ram attack and a 2d4 +1 bite and a 2d4+2 kick attack and leave the rest the same
Btw my group did an experiment with a barnyard goat and an idiot in a suit of platemail. We had to cut the curias off because gots are effing vicious. He had 2 broken ribs.
Best thing to wild shape into as a second level moon druid
my rouge use it as a weapon and my dms letting us (us being the party) upgrade the goat has a gun and a flame thrower along with arms
same
How to absolutely break your DnD party? Say something along the lines of "You feel as if your bodies are suddenly made of pure fear. A large figure emerges from the cave, it's long, coarse silver fur and yellow eyes with horizontal pupils adding to it's intimidating aura. It's long, curved horns seem to be sharper than the sharpest spear anyone has ever made. Hooves clack loudly against the rocky ground, and it let's out a long bleat before it emerges fully from the shadows. You gasp a bit before realizing... it's a giant goat."
this is goated
In height, takin stand 97 to 140 cm (38 to 55 in) at the shoulder, but measure a relatively short 160–220 cm (63–87 in) in head-and-body length, with the tail adding only an additional 12 to 21.6 cm (4.7 to 8.5 in). Measurements of weights vary, but according to most reports, the males are slightly larger, weighing 300–350 kg (660–770 lb) against 250–300 kg (550–660 lb) in females. Sources including Betham (1908) report that females are larger, with the largest captive takin known to the author, at 322 kg (710 lb), having been female. Takin can weigh up to 400 kg (880 lb) or 600 kg (1,300 lb) in some cases.
