Magic Resistance. The slaad has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects
Regeneration. The slaad regains 5 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point.
Multiattack. The slaad makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be infected with a disease similar to chaos phage, but less virulent. The disease is not capable of converting the humanoid into a slaad like a fertilized blue slaad can, but it prevents the victim from gaining hitpoints and is adapted to cause a 10 foot reduction of movement that permits the slaad to escape.
Description
After a slaad tadpole hatches from its host, it generally consumes the host over a period of days and slowly develops into a blue slaad. If the tadpole is interrupted in this process, the result is an adolescent blue slaad.
Adolescent blue slaadi have not yet returned to the spawning stone to fully mature and fertilize their chaos phage. As a result, the phage is harmful, but not capable of initiating slaad metamorphosis in the target. Instead, the phage operates to allow the slaad to escape and grow to maturity, possibly returning after maturation to infect its attackers with fully matured chaos phage.
