Fire Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
The odor of sulfur and pumice surrounds a red dragon, whose swept-back horns and spinal frill define its silhouette. Its beaked snout vents smoke at all times, and its eyes dance with flame when it is angry.
I hate fighting this mc'****in thing
I'm campaigning Out Of The Abyss. One of my players (only one) took the red dragon egg from Themberchaud. Luckily, he's a red Dragonborn sorcerer, not an Aarakockra. Now he has to smuggle it through Gracklstough. "I need one medium dragon sized crate!"
LOL
Why can red dragon wyrmling not use claws
my wizard tryed to seduce it 7 times failed each time
Can someone plz tell me why red dragon wyrmling cannot use claws
increase its hp and hit dice size and size.
i'll make a stat block
I made a Druid ranger and am using him as a pokemon trainer, I currently own/ have control over 3 of these little guys 😂
Bro, we are a level 10 part of a barbarian, a paladin, a druid, and an artificer and we've defeated CR 13 creatures way more easily than a group of three of these. They should not be CR 4.
Dragons are inherently unfit for CR, since their breath deals way too much damage (TM) to literally everyone, but if you account for it as damage over round and calculate their defensive CR, they should be about CR4 (of course when you actually think about it, their breath combined with 60ft flight speed means they can easily kill a 4th level party)
but yeah, three of these is heavily broken, their breath alone is a rechargeable 21d6 AoE
Yeah, I'm really hoping they're gonna fix CR for 5.5e.
At 5th level, you can easily have a +11 modifier to Animal Handling, and as a Fey Wanderer Ranger you can have +14 to Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion, so this is definitely not accurate. Maybe before Tasha's Cauldron of Everything came out, but not now.
Edit: Whoops, that post was 2 years ago. Also, why would anyone ask for help with this? This is golden RP opportunity if your players do this!
