Description

A sub-breed of mimic that disguises itself as currency, thought to have came to being by a wizard trying to guard his wealth. Coin Mimics usually live with other Coin Mimics forming a swarm, or will live near other larger Mimics surviving off their scraps. In this case a swarm has either formed or gathered by someone with the intent to trap a greedy adventurer. The swarm may disguise itself as a pile of gold, a chest full of silver, or even a pouch of coppers, situation dictates. Often swarms will even hide among real coins to lure adventurers in with a false sense of security.
