Lightning Scarf. At the start of Agdon's turn, any creature within 5 feet of him takes 2 lightning damage.
Evasion. If Agdon is subjected to an effect that allows him to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, he instead takes no damage if he succeeds on the saving throw and only half damage if he fails, provided he isn’t incapacitated.
Mobile. Agdon does not trigger opportunity attacks from creatures he has hit with an attack within a round.
Standing Leap. Agdon’s long jump is up to 20 feet and his high jump is up to 10 feet, with or without a running start.
Multiattack. Agdon makes two attacks. One with his Branding Iron and one with his Dagger or Shield.
Branding Iron. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (3d6) fire damage, and the target is magically branded. Agdon is invisible to creatures branded in this way. The brand disappears after 24 hours, or it can be removed from a creature or object by any spell that ends a curse.
Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 5) piercing damage.
Shield. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 5) bludgeoning damage and if the target is a creature that is Medium or smaller, they must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from Agdon.
Get In Here! Agdon calls out for his brigands and a Harengon Brigand appears at the battle.
Quick Fingers. Agdon targets one creature within 5 feet of him that he can see and makes a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check, with a DC equal to 1 + the target’s passive Wisdom (Perception) score. On a successful check, Agdon pilfers one object weighing 1 pound or less that the target has in its possession but not in its grasp, without the target noticing the theft.
Uncanny Dodge. Agdon halves the damage that he takes from an attack that hits him. He must be able to see the attacker.
Meat Shield. If Agdon is damaged by an attack that would reduce his hit points to 0, he can instead grab a Harengon Brigand within 10 feet, transferring the damage to them.
Agdon has three villain actions. He can take each action once during an encounter after an enemy creature’s turn. He takes villain action 1 during the first round of combat, villain action 2 during the second round, and villain action 3 during the third round.
Villain Action 1: What Are You Waiting For?! Agdon calls out to his brigands. Each harengon brigand that can hear Agdon can use their reaction to take the disengage action and move up to their speed.
Villain Action 2: Get THAT one! Agdon points out an enemy to his brigands. Each brigand that can hear Agdon can use their reaction to take the disengage action and move up to their speed towards the target or make one attack against the target. Until the start of Agdon's next turn, attacks against the target are made at advantage.
Villain Action 3: Hit 'em HARDER! In a desperate effort, Agdon issues a command to his brigands to lash out in an attempt to turn the tides of the battle. Each brigand that can hear him can make two attacks against a creature within reach or one ranged attack.
The only reason I would vote this down is because, this is not a normal encounter, this a is a FULL-BLOWN BOSS. If you plan on using it on Wild Beyond The Witchlight(Because thats where this character is from) where he appears, don't, because I happen to be running Wild Beyond the Witchlight( We are in the Downfall chapter right now.) and when we encounter Agdon he is just like a weak mini-boss, not a Buff, hard to kill, hard to hit tank, maybe try to make him appear later on in the story as when your PCs are more leveled up.
This was made to be a Boss type creature from Flee, Mortals. Only change I would do is increase this one’s CR to 5. Running him with 2 CR ½ Artillery and 4 CR ¼ Skirmishers. Party of 7 4th level PCs. It depends on how you run premade adventures. Due to circumstance, my party has reached level 4 as they just arrived in Hither (they did not start at the carnival, and carnival was level 3-4)
This is the badass brigand boss I needed; I shall use him.
