Description
A dorgox is a massive creature. It is very bulky but agile. It is mostly humanoid.
The outer "skin" of a volcanic dorgox is made of a strange, impenetrable stone-like material. It seems to radiate fire from between chunks. The head is just a solid rock of the same stony material, with eye sockets revealing another fiery core. Despite haveing no mouth, it produces a thunderous roar when angered.
Lair and Lair Actions
The lair is deep inside of mountains. It includes a small cave system with a massive central room where the dorgox dwells. The caves are dark, cold, damp, and musty. The central room is dim and hot. The caves contain random things such as invaluable treasure, cursed statues, and skeletons. The central room consists of ancient fortress remains and a large pit where the dorgox sleeps. The pit is a lake of magma or molten gold.
If the dorgox is defeated in his lair, a chest of extreme value will be revealed. After the group/person who killed the dorgox exits, the lair becomes permanently inaccessible by way of a strange magic making it impossible to navigate the caves back to the lair.
Action: Hotball:
From the lake of molten gold or magma, the dorgox grabs a massive (about 25-50 feet in diameter) ball of the gold or magma. It then hurtles it at the target.
Any creature hit by a fireball receives 1d12 bludgeoning damage and 1d100 fire damage.
Any creature hit by a gold ball receives 1d12 damage and becomes frozen in a chunk of solid gold.
