Traits

Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the zombie to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead.

Bile Explosion. The grotesque explodes upon death causing bile gore to spread in a 10ft. radius around it and causing 3d6 poison damage. All within range must make a Dexterity saving throw with a 13 DC. Upon failure the targets afflicted are poisoned. If they succeed they suffer half the damage and they are not poisoned.

Corpse Eater Worms. Immediately after Zombie Grotesque's death, 4 corpse eater worms sprout from its belly and attack nearest living creatures. They can move and attack once. Their movement is 15ft. They last only for one round before collapsing to the ground and swiftly rot away.

Description

Zombie Grotesques are the result of experiments with the necromancy school made by experienced necromancers. They are usually made from the bloated bodies of drowned victims.

Undead zombies move with a jerky, uneven gait. They are clad in the moldering apparel they wore when put to rest, and carry the stench of decay. Grotesques are known to explode upon death in a cloud of gore. Undead eels sprout out and bite nearby living creatures.
