Spellcasting. The bard is a 4th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 12, +5 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following bard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): friends, mage hand, vicious mockery
1st level (4 slots): charm person, healing word, heroism, sleep, thunderwave
2nd level (3 slots): invisibility, shatter
3rd level (2 slots): call lightning
Song of Rest. The bard can perform a song while taking a short rest. Any ally who hears the song regains an extra 1d6 hit points if it spends any Hit Dice to regain hit points at the end of that rest. The bard can confer this benefit on itself as well.
Shred (2/Day). While holding the poweraxe with both hands, Yvelda can enter a state of extreme focus for up to one minute. While shredding, Yvelda must use both hands to play the poweraxe, her speed is halved and she may not climb, burrow, or swim. While shredding Yvelda has advantage on concentration checks and letting her replace all non-valued spell components with her playing. Yvelda may also give a d8 bardic inspiration to any creature within 60 feet that can hear her as a free action while shredding.
Poweraxe. Yvelda wields a specially enchanted greataxe with strings running down its shaft. The poweraxe may be welded as a magical greataxe or played as a magical instrument that may have its volume adjusted so it is heard from a distance of 5-200 feet.
Poweraxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
Description
Yvelda is a powerbard, a dwarvish school of music that relies on magically amplified weapon/instrument hybrids to achieve the loudest, rowdiest ballads possible. She wears thick mutton chops that end in braids that incorporate back into her braided ponytail and she openly forgoes armor to show off the numerous scars and tattoos that line her arms and torso. She is a woman of few words, opting instead to let her music do the talking, but even in silence, she exudes an aura of confidence.
