Traits

Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the kobold has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Pack Tactics. The kobold has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the kobold's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Minion Vulnerability. If a minion takes damage due to a successful attack roll or failed saving throw, then the minion drops to 0 hit points, regardless of the damage dealt. Kobold minions may not benefit from temporary hit points or any spell or ability that restores hit points.

Shared Space. Up to two minions may occupy a single 5 foot square without any penalty to them.  If an area of effect spell or ability targets the space they occupy, both minions suffer the effects.

Actions

Bite.  Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.  Hit: 1 piercing damage, or 2 piercing damage if the kobold minion is benefiting from Pack Tactics.

Rock Throw.  Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 20/60 ft., one target.  Hit: 1 bludgeoning damage, or 2 bludgeoning damage if the kobold minion is benefiting from Pack Tactics.

Bonus Actions

Tackle and Dogpile (shared bonus action).  If at least three kobold minions are within 5 feet of an enemy, the kobold minions may make a shared bonus action.  The target creature within 5 feet must pass a DC 13 Athletics or Acrobatics Check or be restrained and knocked prone.  If there are 4 or more kobold minions participating in this attack, then the target creature makes the roll at disadvantage.  This action may only be used once per round by the group of kobold minions, regardless of how many kobold minions are within 5 feet.

Description

Kobolds runts are smaller and younger than typical kobolds, yet still may pose a threat in small groups.  While they haven't mastered sling attacks yet, they are fiercely cooperative and have been known to take down large enemies.
