Adapting. If the monster is hit by any spell or weapon it generates that weapon from its body and learns that spell and has proficiency with them as well as seeing a creature or player use a feature like action surge it can copy anything and use it right back at the opponent
Adapting gear. The monster has a orb in the middle of its chest that if damaged it can only adapt to 2 actions or spells per turn instead of everything

Description
It can adapt to anything if it gets hit with a fireball it has resistance to fire damage and same for other attacks even melee for the rest of that action but only for that one turn upon the adaptoids next turn it will lose all resistances.
Also is a completely white humanoid figure that has a orb in its chest that is not visible but is located in the center of its chest or its head dm's choice
