Magical Connection. Due to demons' and dragons' connection to magic, the Palnoma is able to sense magic within 30 feet of itself, accurately enough to sense magical spells, objects, traces, sources and casters.

Magic Resistance. The Palnoma has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Blind. The Palnoma automatically fails ability checks requiring sight, and has advantage on ability checks requiring hearing, feeling, taste or smell. Upon being deafened, the Palnoma becomes stunned until the end of it's next turn.

Burning Blood. Upon the Palnoma being hit by a melee attack, the attacker takes 14 (4d6) fire damage.

Multiattack. The Palnoma makes two bite attacks

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 13 (3d8) piercing damage plus 13 (3d8) fire damage. 

Exploding Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Palnoma exhales fire in a 40-foot line that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 18 Dexterity Saving Throw, taking 33 (6d8 + 6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save. All creatures that fail the save must roll a d4, in that many rounds, an explosion is triggered, dealing 13 (3d8) fire damage to it and all other creatures within 5 ft of it other than the Palnoma.

The Palnoma can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Palnoma regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The Palnoma makes a Wisdom ( Perception) check.

Bite. The Palnoma makes one bite attack.

Spit (Costs 2 Actions). The Palnoma spits flame at a creature. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, 40/80 ft range, one target. Hit: 17 (5d6) fire damage.
