Multiattack. Rob makes two attacks, both with his chains, or one with his chains and one with his pickaxe.
Pickaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage.
Chains. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 5) slashing damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 14) if Rob isn't already grappling a creature. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained and takes 3 (1d6) piercing damage at the start of each of its turns.
Animate Chains (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Up to four chains Rob can see within 40 feet of him magically rise and animate under Rob's control, provided that the chains aren't being worn or carried.
Each animated chain is an object with AC 18, 15 hit points, resistance to piercing damage, and immunity to psychic and thunder damage. When Rob uses multiattack on his turn, he can use each animated chain to make one additional chain attack. An animated chain can grapple one creature of its own but can't make attacks while grappling. An animated chain reverts to its inanimate state if reduced to 0 hit points or if Rob is incapacitated or dies.
Lair and Lair Actions
Rocky Coating. If Rob drops below half his HP while in his lair, he magically the pulls rocky slag and gold ore around him onto his body, creating armor that raises his AC to 18 and gives him resistance to piercing and slashing damage from non-magical attacks and immunity to damage from non-magical silvered weapon attacks.
This armor lasts for 30 minutes or until Rob is killed or incapacitated.
