Description
"Horrified and unable to act, I crouched behind a rock, the sound of a revving machine scraping at my ears. Loud footsteps wandered past my hiding place, it hadn't found me, not yet. Sweat was dripping from my chin into a puddle below me, which reflected my mortified face. Suddenly, the golem erupted into a blaring howl, and my ears shot out blood. Now screaming in pain, my location was revealed, and the golem ran towards me with it's chainsaws at the ready."
Chainsaw golems are similar to iron golems, however they have large chainsaws instead of forearms, and have a flesh inside which is blocked by large plates of metal.
Creation. Chainsaw golems require a humanoid body to be created, and the body must be either alive or been killed within the past hour. Upon creation, the soul of the body is absorbed by the golem, and loses all personality. Chainsaw golems are incredibly rare and dangerous, usually created by wicked wizards who have forfeited their humanity.
Independent. Unlike most constructs; due to having a soul, chainsaw golems are sentient to a certain degree and may become independent if their creator or owner dies, or if they are treated badly. Once they do so they tend to wander their home, slowly learning the skills needed to survive, and kill any intruders.
