Amorphous. The Malovat can move through a space as narrow as 1 foot wide without squeezing.

Paint Blood. Upon taking bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage, the Malovat spurts out paint, dealing 17 (2d8 + 8) poison damage to every creature within 10 feet of it.

Spider Climb. The demon can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Multiattack. The Malovat makes two attacks, one swab attack and one flick attack

Swab. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 15 (2d12  + 2) poison damage. 

Flick. Ranged Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, range 30/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 13 (2d12) poison damage.

Paint Flush (Recharge 5-6). The Malovat spins and dances about, spouting out large volumes of it's paint, inflicting everything in a 30 foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw, taking 45 (7d12) poison damage and becoming poisoned for 1 minute on a failed save, or half as much and not being poisoned on a successful one.

Legendary Actions

The Malovat can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Malovat regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Flick. The Malovat makes one flick attack.

Flood Sprint. The Malovat moves 35 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Paint Dampen (Costs 2 Actions). The Malovat covers itself with thick paint, giving it a +2 bonus to AC until the start of it's next turn.

Description

Malovats appear as humanoids with one large horn spiralling around their head like a halo, with their body covered in paint-like liquid which changes colour at the Malovat's will. Their eyes are also able to change colour, and most accurately represent the Malovat's mood, more so than their facial expression or paint colour.

Mutineers. Malovats are type-5 demons who are largely independent, and care even less for order than most demons, even to the the point of making irrational decisions just to be out of servitude. Malovats never listen to anyone, even demon lords, and are disgusted by any 'weak' enough to follow laws of any kind.

Sadists. Malovats tend to enjoy torturing their enemies, or if their enemy loses all sense of hope and wishes to be killed, they let them live. Malovats accomplish this in many ways, usually less conventional than most techniques, for example they may blind them with their paint, or poison them over and over again.
