Rat absorption.  It can absorb any rat within a 50 foot radius making the rat bigger and stronger for every 100 rats adds 1 damage to each attack and +1 to hit.

Rat mitosis. For one action turn the rat swarm can split in half cutting in half and losing the +x(per 100 rat) damage a hit, and gains 1 extra attack a turn. Health is divided between the 2 but dexterity is increased by +2, strength -1.

Rat Cannon. Bludgeoning Damage. Shoots a rat that will scurry back to the swarm dealing (2d6+5) damage. To hit +5. Has 25 foot range .

Hive mind. One rat can alert the rest to an incoming attack and it will be able to brace taking off (1d6+2) damage if a (1d20+2) gets over 15 perception.
