Evasion. When the Master Monk is subjected to an effect that allows a saving throw for half damage, it automatically takes half damage and negates all damage on a success.

Unarmored Defense. The Master Monk's AC includes its Wisdom modifier.

Magic Weapons. The Master Monk's natural weapons (that is, Unarmed Strikes) are treated as magical for the purpose of overcoming damage resistance and immunity.

Actions

Multiattack. The Master Monk makes four Unarmed Strikes or three dart attacks.

Unarmed Strike. +9 to hit, 10 (d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the Master Monk may attempt to subject a target to one of the following effects:

  • The target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or drop one item of the monk's choice.
  • The target must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
  • The target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of the monk's next turn.

Dart. Range 20/60 feet, one target. +9 to hit, 7 (d4 + 5) piercing damage. Once per turn, the monk may attempt to subject a creature hit with a dart attack to one of the effects in the Unarmed Strike action.

Reactions

Deflect Missile. In response to being hit with a ranged attack, the master monk, if it has at least one hand free and the ranged attack is from a projectile which can be reasonably blocked, can attempt to reduce the damage. Damage is reduced by 1d10+8. If damage is fully reduced, the monk catches the weapon and may immediately make a ranged attack with it, using the projectile's normal range and being proficient with it.

Description

Master Monks can often be found presiding over secluded monasteries. They maintain a strict regimen of physical exercise and martial arts in the belief that a strong body can house a strong spirit. They also meditate daily in the hopes of transcending the mortal world. It is very rare that their services can be bought with gold.
