This is a very cool monster, really like the idea of it. I just think that the ability to see enemies within 40ft regardless of any magic is a little to strong. Maybe either make the range smaller, or make it so no-one can see the Abominator until its within 30ft of them as the Abominator can hide so well.
I love the idea of this monster here's some constructive criticism, to help you make future monsters.
1. the average of 2d8 hit points would be 9 not 10
2. 16dex score is far to high for a CR 1/4 creature
3. those abilities dont make any sense for example (quick feet. they can run fast when they are stealth) what does this mean?
4. the track ability would be too strong for even a CR 20 creature
5. you can always look at other 1/4 stat blocks and compare them like the guard stat block and if the one you are making is more powerful then you can go back and edit it.
