Void: The voidling has access to a strange substance called void. This can used to bend space and (on larger scales) time. All actions that deal damage slow the enemy and maybe possibly apply a status effect on them.
Collapse: This status effect that all attack actions done by the Voidling, causes players to suffer a strange tightness in their chest and a sense of dread, after 10 in game seconds, the status effect goes off dealing 2d6+5 damage per stack of collapse. This can stack and has a 1/4 chance of being applied to players per attack.
Extra Attacks: The Voidling has 2
Homing Swarm: The Voidling can shoot multiple missiles at once from its eye that have strange properties upon being hit. The missiles work like magic missiles and are guaranteed to hit no matter what unless someone casts shield. The void missiles deal 3d4+5 void damage per missile, the amount of missiles shot is up to the DM (go crazy). The strange effect on players is that upon being hit once, the any subsequent attack from a missiles does an extra 7 void damage.
Laser Burst: The Voidling fires a burst of 3 lasers that all deal 3d8+7 void damage with the final laser upon impacting an object will leave a big spot of void with 30 ft radius that deals 3d4 void damage per in game second. The lasers have a range of 500 ft and a width of 10 ft.
Sweeping Beam: The Voidling lowers itself and starts firing a large beam with a width of 60 ft and spins 1080 degrees. This deals 5d8+10 void damage per hit. A great counter to this is the jump spell or any sort of levitation or flying.
Void Fog. A fog covers a 1000ft radius that deals 1d4 void damage per in game second. There is a safe zone within this fog which is a radius of 10 ft that the Voidling is inside of.
Nullifier Black Hole: A sphere attack that will instantly kill anyone upon touching the black hole, this can only be used if the boss is still alive after 20 turns, or its health is reduced to 40% of its max hp. It has a charge up of 15 seconds and will slowly grow from its initially 100ft to its maximum 500ft radius. Any movement actions have -5 to their rolls no matter the modifier the players normally have, due to the fact the black hole pulls the players towards it, also reducing walking speed to 20ft and flying to 30ft. This also affects the terrain around it heavily, morphing and deleting the ground a structures around it. There is a trick you can do by running towards the black hole and trying to jump over to carry your momentum to throw you far out of the radius. Costs 2 actions.
Description
A giant spider crab with all but one of its facial features missing, only leaving a single, huge eye ball that takes up most of the Voidling a main body. It’s covered in the black substance Void and its eye glows purple, where it shoots its lasers and missiles from. It can disconnect its main body into 2 pieces revealing the black hole inside its body.
Lair and Lair Actions
The Planeterium: The Boss Has three phases, each phase having 333 health, and the final phase has 500 health, at the end of each phase, it will attempt to run away through a void portal, upon going through the void portal, void fog will automatically be cast around the area and the nearest safe space is through the portal, upon going through the portal, you having a little parkour section (athletics/acrobatics up to DM) and at the end of the parkour section.
