Traits

Spell-Guard Dragon Barding. provides +2 armor to Dragons of large size. While wearing this barding, Zod has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects, and spell attacks have disadvantage against him.

Proficiencies. Navigator's Tools (+4 Wis) or (+5 Int)

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d10 + 3) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) radiant damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Scintillating Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales a burst of brilliant radiance in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The dragon then gains 10 temporary hit points by absorbing a portion of the radiant energy.

Spellcasting (Psionics). The dragon casts one of the following spells, requiring no spell components and using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 14):

At will: friends, guidance

1/day each: dispel magic, lesser restoration

Emergency Maneuvers!. As an action, Zod calls for Emergency Maneuvers to avoid a hazard. Until the end of the ship’s next turn, attack rolls against the ship have disadvantage and checks to avoid dangerous terrain or obstacles are made at advantage.

Reactions

Telekinetic Reprisal (Feat). When you take damage from a creature that is within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to emanate telekinetic energy. The creature that dealt damage to you must make a Strength saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, the creature takes 2d8 force damage and is pushed up to 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus (3 times), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Description

"Zod" is a very confident Dragon and while very boisterous he is also very friendly.  He enjoys collecting valuables for his hoard.  He currently is seeking an item that was gifted to him by his mother, it had been stolen in recent years. He won’t rest until the item is retrieved. As part of the sky ship crew he is the Navigator.  and through his guidance is often able to help the party avoid dangers.

He is large with crystal clear scales that seem to shimmer and glow a radiant blue, that seeps out between his scales. He also bears  Draconic runes engraved on several prominent scales on his chest and limbs. He also enjoys wearing a special set of armor that was crafted for him by a Djinn.

He has a bad habit of quickly forgetting the names of those he encounters and often  invents random nicknames for them instead.

Connected Creatures

Crystal dragons are among the most social and hospitable of dragons. They are equal parts mysterious, contemplative, and mischievous, making it difficult to know what to expect of them.
