Traits

Aura of Hate. Vinsmoke grants himself and any fiends or undead within 10 ft. a +5 bonus to melee weapon damage rolls.

Aura of Protection. While he is conscious, it grants all friendly creatures (including him) within 10 ft. a +5 bonus to all saving throws.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Vinsmoke fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Control Undead. As an action, Vinsmoke unleashes his Oathbraker powers and animates up to 5 undead of combined CR equal to 11, they obey his commands (no action) and get their own initiative. Alternatively, he can take control over another undead he can see within 30 ft. forcing it to a WIS saving throw (DC 17). On failure, the target must obey his commands for 24 hours, or until he uses this feature again. An undead with a CR equal to or greater than 11 is immune.

Spellcasting. Vinsmoke is an 11th-level half-caster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). Vinsmoke can cast the following paladin spells prepared:

1st level (4 slots): command, compelled duel, inflict wounds, shield of faith, searing smite,

2nd level (3 slots): lesser restoration, darkness, locate objectwarding bond, branding smite,

3rd level (3 slots): bestow curse, revivifyblinding smite

Actions

Multiattack. Vinsmoke makes two Battleaxe attacks or casts one spell.

Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (1d8 + 10) slashing damage, plus 4 (1d8) radiant damage.

Lay on Hands (Pool: 55/Day). Vinsmoke have a pool of healing power that can restore 55 HP per long rest. As an action, he can touch a creature to restore any number of HP remaining in the pool, or 5 HP to either cure a disease or neutralize a poison affecting the creature.

Bonus Actions

Shield Shove. If Vinsmoke takes the Attack action on his turn, he can use a bonus action to try to shove a creature within 5 ft. with his shield.

Daunting Roar. (2/short rest). Vinsmoke uses his leonin powers fueled by his divine powers and roars, each creature of his choice that can see or hear him within 30 ft. must make a WIS saving throw (DC 17). On failure, the target is frightened of him for 1 minute. If it moves more than 30 ft. from him, it can attempt another saving throw.

Reactions

Shield Master Evasion. If an effect allows half damage on success (DEX save), you can use your reaction to take no damage.

Legendary Actions

Vinsmoke can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. He regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Move. Vinsmoke moves up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks, or commands one of his undead soldiers to move without provoking opportunity strikes.

Battleaxe Strike. Vinsmoke makes one melee attack with its battleaxe.

Commanding Strike. The leonin orders one of his undead to make a standard attack against the adjacent creature.
